When collecting personal information, we ensure that the process occurs only through obtaining your explicit consent so you are informed about exactly what information is collected and why. The director and employees of NAV Scandinavia ApS have access to the information that is registered about you. The data manager at navscandiavia.com is NAV Scandinavia ApS.
NAV Scandinavia may occasionally change or update the terms for receiving newsletters. If you continue to subscribe to and receive the newsletters, it is considered that you have accepted the changed or updated terms and conditions for NAV Scandinavia's newsletter. We will always advise on any changes or updates to the terms and conditions.
When subscribing to the newsletter, please state which store you own or are working in, your first and last name, you home country and your e-mail address. We do not register any other information in connection with the registration.
USE OF YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS
Once you have subscribed to our newsletter, we will use your e-mail address to send you newsletters containing news about NAV Scandinavia including our latest designs, events, and marketing initiatives. As a starting point, we send 2-4 newsletters a year.
Your e-mail address will be disclosed to the subcontractor we use to send out the newsletters. Our current subcontractor is MailChimp.
COLLECTION OF INFORMATION
We record information about your use of the newsletters, including whether the newsletters are opened, how long they are open, when the e-mail/newsletter is deleted, and clicking links within the newsletter.
We use the information we collect about your use of the newsletters to improve our service and enable us to better target and tailor content according to recipient interests.
STORAGE OF YOUR INFORMATION
Your information is kept and treated confidentially and safely. We and our subcontractors (MailChimp) have implemented the necessary technical and organisational security measures against the misuse of your information, coming into the knowledge of an unauthorized person, accidentally or illegally destroyed, lost or impaired or otherwise treated in violation of the General Data Protection Regulation.
Your e-mail address and any other contact information we have registered about you will be retained for as long as you are subscribed to our newsletter.
UNSUBSCRIBING FROM THE NEWSLETTER
You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time by clicking the "unsubscribe newsletter" link found at the bottom of every newsletter you receive from us.
Once you unsubscribe, you will no longer receive information from us unless you have consented to being contacted by us. Once you have unsubscribed, you will receive a confirmation that we will delete you from the recipient list for our newsletter. Then your e-mail address will be deleted from the recipient list of the newsletter.
We may have your information from other contexts which are not affected by an unsubscribe. Therefore, we may continue to treat such information according to the consent or other means of treatment we have.
CORRECTION, INSIGHT INTO AND DELETION OF INFORMATION
If you have corrections or updates to your contact information, you can edit this at any time by either unsubscribing from the newsletter and then signing up again or by contacting us at firstname.lastname@example.org. You can always request insight into what personal information is being processed about you. We process your personal information until you withdraw your consent. You can withdraw your consent at any time by unsubscribing to our newsletter, as above. You can also contact us if you want to delete, change or move your information.
TRANSFER TO THIRD PARTIES
We only provide your information to our subcontractor who processes it in connection with the mailing of the newsletters. This subcontractor is MailChimp.
